Our Occupied Office Flooring Replacement process uses "lift" carpet installation to make things as easy as possible on your team.

occupied office flooring replacementFor an occupied office flooring replacement, our team works efficiently in phases and after hours to ensure your office operations continue while flooring replacement occurs. We carefully coordinate with your team to install high-quality flooring solutions, tailored to your interior design, without compromising productivity.

Here’s a look at our process:

  • Prior to start, ReSource Floor + Care will deliver plastic bins for personal items: pictures, books, loose papers, & other desktop / miscellaneous items.
  • Our crews will move desks, furniture and workstations in order to demo existing flooring; then we’ll reinstall the flooring and reset the furniture. Workstations are gently lifted in place with tooling that’s specifically designed for this process.
  • For very full or heavy file cabinets, please empty the top 1-2 drawers to make these easier to move and reset.
  • Disconnect computers, unplug power & data cables, and secure computers / screens. Our team will move these items if needed, but we will not disconnect them.
  • Place items from full bolsters on workstation panels inside the bins (especially for larger/taller workstations).
  • Any personally identifiable information needs to be secured.
  • Bins and furniture might be moved from offices into hallways and/or around the inside of the office space as needed. However, these items will not be removed from the office premises.
